Welcome to the Texas Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the Bounders of America
Introduction
The Rio Grande Valley Chapter (South Texas) meets on the second Thursday of November thru March. We meet at a local restaurants for lunch. If you own a Bounder or are interested in a Bounder, you are welcome and encouraged to join us. Of course, we discuss Bounder news, problems, sources of supply, etc. during our meetings.
Meetings
During the 2009 - 2010 season, we met at restaurants from San Juan, TX to Mission, TX. Chapter members volunteer to host a meeting, then reserve the restaurant and usually provide an after dinner mint to attendees. The dates and host couples for next season are below. The secretary emails the members the location, directions to, and time of the meetings. If you would like to get a notice of our meetings, please send an email to the chapter secretary Ray Fink. I will add time and restaurant to the table below when available.

Giving Back
During our March meeting we look at our chapter funds and make a donation to a charity. In 2009 we wrote a check to St. Jude and this year, 2010, we wrote a check to St. Baldricks Foundation.. St. Baldricks funds research to find a cure for childhood cancer. We can not have a Bounder Web Page without a Bounder picture.
The following picture is of Bob & Carol Heiser's Bounder in use as An Amateur Radio Station at Field Day in June 2007. Look close and you can see an antenna to the left of the motorhome.
